This quick and easy recipe includes all of the elements of a BLT, plus a bit of avocado for richness, mixed into a colorful pasta base.  A traditional BLT, of course, is slathered with mayo, but we’ve lightened up this salad by using non-fat Greek yogurt.  The powerful punch of flavor in the dressing comes from the addition of zaatar.

You may be asking yourself what is zaatar? It's a Mediterranean spice mix with mainstay ingredients (if premium brand) of wild thyme (native to Middle East region), sumac, and sesame seeds. Za'atar is a great way to add a delicious Mediterranean flair to just about any dish, and it even offers health benefits. Read hear about zaatar benefits. If you’ve never tried cooking with zaatar before, this recipe is the perfect excuse to buy some!

Great Flavor and quality

The Za atar is much more flavorful than what I can get at the grocery store. I use it daily. It adds so much to every dish I use it in from roasts to baked chicken. I use this Za atar mixed with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the smoothest I have ever tasted, when I eat baguette bread and cheese. (wine included) It makes a great simple and light meal.

Zaatar Herb - Syrian Oregano

Great product...exactly what I was hoping for...fresh and fragrant...

Delicious Olive Oil!

Ordering and shipping were easy and quick and we love the delicious delicate taste of this extra virgin olive oil. Will definitely order again.

Loved it

Reminded me of the old days.

Over priced

The cheapest thing that you can buy in the middle east is zatar, lol. Ridiculously overpriced. Even when it’s on sale, 7 ounces for $11.99. No different than the merchant on Amazon that is selling a can of garbanzo beans for five dollars.
